Emanuele was incredibly kind and helpful. Even had the chance to meet his father who was equally charming. The neighborhood and location are incredible. Spacious living room and bedroom. Located overlooking the main square. Easy access on foot across the river to Rome's main attractions.
Perfect stay in a perfect apartment. Beautiful area, grand rooms, so many restaurants, cafes and nightlife, all within easy reach of central locations and not far from the Vatican. Best of all was Emanuele who provided restaurant and bar recommendations in the local area and generally couldn't have been more helpful with any personal requirements. Couldn't have enjoyed the stay more, more than highly recommended!!! Will visit again and stay in one of Emanuele's apartments.
Emanuele and Claudio are the very best! We had booked another apartment through Airbnb and they canceled on us at the last minute and we are very glad they did. We chose this apartment (we wanted to stay in Trastevere) and found Emanuele to be the easier and best host we could imagine. They accommodated an early bag drop, bought us coffee, had a great chat about Rome and LA, and they left us with great local ideas. The apartment is fantastic with all mod cons and super nice and clean. We liked the location so much we tried to stay on for a few more days but sadly they were booked. I can't say enough gold good things about these guys, the way they run their business, and how great the flat was. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends. We will also be taking Emanuele and his girlfriend out to dinner when they come out to LA. Thanks for an amazing experience, Emanuele and Claudio!
Our apartment in Trastevere, Rome through Rizzo’s Estate was phenomenal. The apartment alone was a perfect mix of new and clean, mixed with welcoming and cozy. We felt immediately at home. The coffee maker made every morning awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and also included bottled waters and chocolate in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the table. The A/C units in both the living room and bedroom was a dream during such a hot summer season. The amenities also included a very nice tv, wifi, washing machine, great shower and bathroom. We slept well in the bed and there was lots of closet space. It was just the two of us, but with the sofa mattress and a small pull out lounge chair, the apartment could easily accommodate for 5 people comfortably. It was well maintained and decorated. Every detail was a nice touch! The location was superb! At the end of a street, our windows overlooked a small plaza that had a farmer’s market every morning. Talk about convenience for breakfast! Plus, during the summer season we went, they had a whole calendar of outdoor movie screenings in the evening! Love! Stepping out our door, there are so many great cafes, shops and restaurants. The location also made it very easy to get to every landmark either from a main road or through the beautiful inside streets that revealed even more fantastic shops, restaurants, bars and more! We walked everywhere because it was such a treat - even to the landmarks. Trastevere is just perfect and staying in and apartment versus a hotel, made the whole Rome experience more meaningful and less tourist-y. It is the best way to experience this city. Everyday, returning from site seeing, felt like coming home. On top of all that is the amazing hospitality we received from Claudio and Emanuele, father and son. They were uber accommodating. Claudio arranged pick up from the airport (even last minute by email during our layover in England), which is such a luxury after such a long flight. Emanuele met us at the apartment and was so thorough in showing us the apartment, all the amenities and had a print out of their favorite restaurants and cafes to go to near by. He was very welcoming and never rushed or seemed inconvenienced by all our questions. He gave us a map and showed us how to get everywhere. Even during our stay, he always answered back immediately on What’s App. We had zero issues with the apartment. They went out of their ways to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Plus we got to have dinner a couple of times spontaneously and now we have left Rome with new friends. We CANNOT WAIT to go back and it is no question that that apartment is where we will return to first and foremost. Even if we want to go visit other cities, it will be from that apartment. It now feels like a second home! And we cannot rave enough about it to our friends who are now contemplating on their own trips! Thank you Claudio and Emanuele! We can’t wait to see you when we return!
If you want to stay in the cutest apartment in Roma, in the best location, with the nicest hosts ever, stay at Rizzo's Estate Trastevere! Emanuele was in close contact with us before and during our stay. He was always available, willing to offer information about the best places to eat and go out, no matter what time. Every suggestion was on point and I wasn't disappointed once. He's like having the best personal concierge in the city. We asked him to arrange a taxi for us and his father actually picked us up and took us to the train station! You can't beat that service! The apartment was exactly as described, and better. Comfortable and cute, not to mention perfectly decorated. I wish I lived there. The neighborhood was perfect for my husband and I. Great restaurants very close, a fabulous "dive bar," Mr Browns, a short walk away, and a market right outside the door. The 8 tram is a very short walk away and makes it very convenient to go to the places on the other side of the river. I really can't say enough about how fabulous the apartment, Emanuele, and his father are. Do not hesitate to make this your home away from home while visiting Roma!
Emanuele was a great host. Leading up to our arrival in Rome he provided great communication and kept in touch which was great. He even arranged a transfer for us from the airport which was great given our flight was delayed. Even despite our late arrival Emanuele was there to greet us and give us an overview of his apartment. He also provided us a list of restaurants we might like to visit in Rome and even went to the length of booking us a lovely restaurant just up the street for dinner on our first night. The apartment is just what we were looking for. Situated in a less touristy area of Rome, but still lively with lot to see and do within a short distance. Located looking out onto a beautiful Piazza we could look out to the window to the locals enjoying their Saturday evening. Great! The apartment itself is perfect for a couple with a large bedroom also with a window looking out onto the local Piazza. We had our two adult sons join us and they were more than comfortable in the lounge. A well stocked kitchen with everything you would need if staying in is your thing, although with the wealth of local cafe/bars & restaurants going out would much more fun! We loved our time in Trastevere where we had a taste of life with the locals and when we return to Rome would definitely be coming back here again. Hope it‘s available! Thanks Emmanuele for a great stay. Grazie Molte!
We spent one week in Emanuele and his dad´s apartment. The apartment is nice, very clean and well-located, in the heart of Trastevere, near of the main touristic locations. The neighbourhood is animated, with a lot of bars and restaurants..., but the apartment is very quiet. Thanks to Emanuele and his father, we felt in Roma like at home. We thank them very much and we do recommend this adress !
I can't recommend Emanuele's apartment enough. One queen bed, one full pull-out, and a single folding bed fit up to five people total. The place is beautifully decorated, wi-fi, full bathroom with nice shower (and shampoo/towels!), and great kitchen fully stocked for us with everything to make breakfast the following morning. Emanuele was a great host - offered to take us around for drinks at night, showed us where to visit, and gave a great recommendation of Dot, a restaurant down the street that was some of the best food I have had in the last year and a half living in Italy. I would absolutely stay here again next time I am in Rome.
